Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner and if you’re wanting something new and fabulous to drink and impress your friends with, we’ve got exactly what you’re looking for. Using Mercy, the newest go-to for hangover prevention, it’s just right for your in-house celebration!
1 oz Tequila
1 oz. Mercy
pinch of cinnamon
CHASER PREP: On a cutting board slice off a thick slice of orange. Using 90 degree angles, cut off the skin to create a perfect orange square. Cut the square diagonally (for 2 people) or square (for 4 people) and top with a mound of cinnamon.
Shot: pour 1 oz of tequila in a shot glass and top with MERCY.
Shoot the shooter, and eat the chaser.
"The complex flavor combinations of the cinnamon spice and smooth citrus of the orange acts as a palate and taste bud opener. Most people who use salt and lime as a chaser makes the famous pucker and salt face and are easily turned off by this classic combination. The unique orange/cinnamon chaser which has been created and widely promoted by our master alchemist Alex Ott, not only opens up the palate but also underlines all the midrange and undertone flavor notes of this beautiful spirit – tequila,” says a Mercy spokesperson.
Mercy, a must-have for the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, is caffeine free, contains only 60 calories and is a custom blend of amino acids, anti-oxidants and vitamins. For more information, visit DrinkMercy.com.
