The Red Carpet didn’t disappoint at the 2013 Golden Globes Awards Sunday night. While there were some colorful frocks on display, a vast majority of the stars sparkled in neutrals and metallics. A few favorites are below, with one other thing clear…stars know how to celebrate – Moet & Chandon champagne had its flow on!
Bold in Gold
Julianne Hough chose a Monique Lhuillier gown with heavy gold embellishment. I love the fairytale tulle with rock n’ roll hardware coupled with a smoky eye an neutral lip. Well done Julianne! Julianne is seen about at Moet & Chandon’s “Toast4aCause” charity initiative on the red carpet.
Best Actress nominee Emily Blunt cashed in on the peek-a-boo trend in a gold Michael Kors dress. Although hard to spot, the dress was embellished with gold studs, lending just a bit of extra drama.
Presenter Kate Hudson was sexily stunning in her black Alexander McQueen gown with intricate gold beading around the neckline. Wowza! Kate is also seen above at the Moet & Chandon “Toast4aCuase” charity initiative. (Michael Kovac Photo).
Best Supporting Actress Nominee Amy Adams chose a nude mermaid style Marchesa gown to attend the show. Landing on some lists as a “Worst Dressed” nominee, I think she absolutely encompassed old Hollywood glam.
Roberto Cavalli did Hayden Panettiere good in her white gown with crazy intricate beading. Panettiere was also a Best Supporting Actress Nominee. Hayden is seen above at the Moet & Chandon’s “Toast4aCause” charity initiative on the red carpet “toasting” for The Whaleman Foundation.
Kerry Washington donned a blush hued Miu Miu gown that turned heads (along with her soft blonde highlights which seem to be just as talked about). Gorgeous!
