My Favorite At-Home Yoga

It occurred to me last night while getting dressed to celebrate a friend’s birthday, my workout game has been weak, at best, this past winter. Of course, this thought was the result of me barely being able to button my jeans. Needless to say, this morning I woke up with a bit more will to get fit. One of my favorite workouts is something I found way back when a little thing called ExcerciseTV existed. Many of their fitness shows were also available OnDemand, so I could literally do them whenever I wanted. While many times I’d look for something new that I thought I might enjoy, my very favorite was Hips Buns and Thighs Yoga led by Tom Morley. I’d do it several times a week for a nice full body (despite it’s title, it really was full body) workout, that stretched, strengthened and toned, always leaving me feeling leaner and stronger. Imagine my utter horror (no, I’m not being dramatic at all), when I woke up one day and ExerciseTV and all of it’s OnDemand content had disappeared! Poof! Gone! Just like that. While I can’t remember most of the shows I liked, I do remember Hips Buns and Thighs, and am elated that I can still get it on Hulu. Yay! Whether you’re just starting out or more of fitness freak, this is a great alternative or a sidekick to your current fitness routines.
