Summer Cocktails Made Easy!

It’s here, it’s here!  I’m not sure whether I’m referring to the weekend or summer in general, but either way, today is a reason to celebrate!  Famed mixologist Troy Sidle of Manhattan hotspot Pouring Ribbons has come up with two cocktails, perfect for a backyard barbecue or sipping poolside with friends.  Play bartender extraordinaire with these two libations, certain to impress your friends or family!

  • 8-oz. chilled Ruffino Prosecco
  • 1.5-oz. Grapefruit Juice
  • .5-oz. St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • .25-oz. Campari

Pour Ruffino Prosecco over ice in a Collins glass until half way full.  Add grapefruit juice, St-Germain and Campari.  Top off with more Ruffino Prosecco as needed.  Garnish with a grapefruit twist.


Brioso (Lively) Cocktail from Troy Sidle.Brioso

  • 3-oz. Ruffino Prosecco
  • 1-oz. London Dry Gin
  • .75-oz. Lemon Juice
  • .75-oz. Simple Syrup
  • 3 pieces Raspberry
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters

Pour gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, raspberries and bitters into a shaker with ice and shake.  Strain liquid into a cocktail glass.  Top with Ruffino Prosecco.  Garnish with a raspberry.
