June Beauty Box 5 Review: Summer Chic + a Free Box for You!

June Beauty Box 5: Summer Chic

Well helllll-oh summer! And yes, I know technically it’s still spring, but when the thermometer reads over 90, well, that’s summer. And there is no better way to start the season than with a HOT delivery from Beauty Box 5. The June box, Summer Chic, was once again full of beauty essentials and even a few surprises just for those non-subscribers. And in case you’ve not heard of the fab monthly subscription service, Beauty Box 5,  for just $12 a month, (or as low as $8.25/box if you sign up for a year’s subscription), an adorable blue box, full of covetable full and deluxe sample sized beauty products is delivered right to your door. Ahhh, pure bliss, I’m telling you!

Much to my delight, here’s what Beauty Box 5 graced me with in June:

Eslor Introductory Collection

I’ve heard amazing things about the Eslor line so I’m excited to try these samples (valued at $15.43). The paraben-free kit includes their Soothing Cream, Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Replenishing Scrub and Comforting Masque.

Nikka K and Glam Natural Mascara

I’m a huge fan of the Nicka K New York lipstick bestowed upon me a couple of boxes ago, so, I can’t wait to try their Red Apple long wearing polish ($4.99 retail). Plus, it’s made in the USA and is formaldehyde-free.

Even though it’s not full size, (still the deluxe sample is valued at $14!), I LOVE getting mascara samples. I’m a mascara-hopper, jumping from brand to brand fairly frequently trying to find one that outdoes my “last one.” This Glam Natural option in Black is gluten-free and paraben-free while also being hypoallergenic and completely vegan.

Vitabath Body Wash in Dreamy Pink Frosting

Wow! So this Dreamy Pink Frosting Vitabath Body Wash deluxe sample ($1.33 retail) smells so good, I suzzed up my loofah with it three days in a row. And then I realized I’m quickly running out, and now I’m rationing it. It’s also sulfate and paraben free and is stocked up with good-for-your-skin antioxidants. Another huge hit!

Organix Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner Sample

Organix has such a good reputation and yet I’ve never tried any of their products! I’ll be traveling with these little smell-good samples ($.30 retail) at month’s end and can’t wait to lather up with the coconut oil and electrolyte infused Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner.
