Spring has Sprung - my Denim and Tulle Easter Outfit

Happy Monday friends! Hope you had a great weekend and an even better Easter:)

Although it rained last night, we've had such a beautiful couple of days and all I've been able to think about are my spring faves. Pinks, florals and of course, open-toed anything...sorry boots and sweaters, but, it's time to trade you in. Because it is a little bit of statement piece, I rarely wear this tulle skirt below, but there is no doubt, it screams spring! From the pretty pastels to the floral-like print, it's from last year's LC by Lauren Conrad Disney Cinderalla Collection by Kohl's, and a piece I couldn't wait to break out this season. I just love the 50's chic feminine vibe it yields.

Sooo., my BIG news for the week is that I'll be leaving Indiana tonight for the bright lights of the big city! If you don't already know I coach the cheer and dance teams at my alma mater, and our basketball team will be playing in the NIT Final Four in New York this week. While everyone was SO SO disappointed we didn't get a bid to the NCAA tournament, this definitely helps heal the wounds. I love NYC, but, I'm more excited for my team (most of them have never been), and university. Such an exciting time! Be sure to check out the brown and gold Tuesday at 7 (6 CST) on ESPN :) :) :)
