Hello there beautiful, how’s your day? Assuming you mentally told me it was awesome, let me get right into this post all about one of my favorite fall outfit ideas, how to wear jeans with heels. Now, before any of you smartie-pants people respond with something to the effect of, “you put on your jeans, then you put on your heels,” let me tell you…I too was a smartie-pants person. Until I inadvertently stumbled upon a pretty popular Google search all about “how to wear jeans with heels.” I also found multiple posts and YouTube videos for, “how to tuck in your shirt,” (I kid you not….how to tuck in your fricken’ shirt!) and “how to wear suspenders.” Honestly, I read a few of those suspenders things…way more complicated than I ever knew.

Ok, but back to jeans and heels. I get it. If you’re used to only wearing jeans very casual, with flip-flops or sneakers, and you’re used to wearing your heels only with your dresses, then the idea of marrying the two together might seem weird. Let me tell you….it’s totally not and it’s super easy to pull off.

Start with the jeans - what kind of silhouette or style are you putting on? Skinny or boyfriend? Ripped and shredded or clean-cut and preppy? For your top, pick the opposite style of your jeans. Wearing full or slouchy denim? Choose a chic slim-fitting top. And although your skinnies will look good with just about any shirt silhouette, if you’re trying to get comfortable wearing this trend, then choose a top that has more of a loose fit.

A pointed toe pump is super easy to pair with any of your outfits and can be worn during all four seasons, so if you’re looking for versatility, start with that. Of course, try a heeled sandal in the warm weather months, a cute boot in the winter, and peep toe booties in the off-seasons. And just an FYI, you can really never go wrong pairing your heels with your favorite embellished jeans. Women everywhere are all about this for the simple fact that it dresses up your denim from the start.

If you haven’t looked through my similar options above, be sure to check out all of those styles, including the pearl embellished jeans super similar to the ones I’m wearing in this post which I picked up from Target way back last winter. They sold out SO quick, so if you find a pair you like, I would snag them before they’re gone:)

Enjoy your day everyone - tell me, what’s the craziest “Google Search” you’ve ever stumbled on?
