Feelin' the Fringe and LOVING Banana Republic's Summer Collection
Hey loves, hope you've had a great weekend! Mine was started a little early with a trip into Chicago Thursday to help celebrate The Bedford's Fifth Anniversary. It's such a cool underground space, and includes a bank vault with original steel doors and safety deposit boxes...add it to your must-visit-list for your next trip into the Windy City! I'm so obsessed with the setting, I almost forgot to mention, the food is amazing as well!
Also included in my busy weekend was a trip to Banana Republic....yay!!! Their summer collection is ahhhh-mazing! But let's get serious for a second...I actually went just to try on the below beauties - the Bryce Fringe Sandals in Vicuna. I knew they were about to be my new favorites and I wanted to get the size just right. So I searched every Banana Republic halfway near me to find them. The only problem...they also come in a Red Print option that are equally phenomenal. What to do, what to do? Naturally, I tried both on (at the same time, one color on either foot) trying to figure it out. I'm not joking, 4 strangers came over (to compliment me on the shoes...that were right there for them to purchase as well) and help me decide. I felt like I had my very own posse, and yeah, I liked it. As you can see, Vicuna won out, but I really couldn't have gone wrong with either hue.
I'm also adoring the other two pieces I picked up - this linen tank in Deap Sea Green was screaming my name! I've always been a fan of a pretty jade hue, but I rarely wear it. I loved pairing it with these distressed boyfriend jeans and my new Bryce Fringe Sandals in Vicuna (have I mentioned them before:)??) - it's the perfect juxtaposition of casualness and edginess - very me! One of the reasons I'm such a fan of BR is for the simplicity they bring to dressing - I could so easily don any of the below pieces with an array of options already in my closet and each would look equally chic.
**Thank you to Banana Republic for sponsoring this post. All opinions my own.
