…But first, I bring you, "What to Wear on a Cool Summer Night." In about three months, I'll regurgitate this to, "What to Wear on a Warm Fall Day." Approximately five months after that, this post will become, "A Casual Spring Outfit." You might be sensing some things here: 1) I'm lazy and don't want to write any more posts that I have to, and 2) I absolutely positively ADORE versatile pieces….
Just when you thought you'd seen all the pink pleated skirts you were going to see from me, BAM, I'm back with another pink pleated look. I wore this skirt for a winter post - complete with a ton and a half of snow, here and just because I think pink is seasonless, I'm sure it's not the last time I'll be breaking it out.
I used to not really care much about my handbags. I had a couple of neutral bags that I was content with...I'd switch them out every season and all was fine. But the past few months...well...I kinda want a different bag for every outfit. No need to criticize...I don't actually have a different bag for every outfit. I just said I wanted one- that seems normal, right?
I love when seasons change as when the weather changes, so does everything else - clothes, makeup, routines...everything seems new! That said, there couldn't be a better time to get all sorts of crazy with your clothes. Welllll...maybe not all sorts...just some sorts (some sorts doesn't have the same ring to it though does it???). If you're looking to mix things up a bit this summer, here are a few tips to break out of any style ruts brought on by winter:
So guys, I am totally feeling the wide leg silhouette I've been seeing everywhere - so much so, I couldn't resist these fun pants from Target (you know, on a run to get a birthday card). I love that they have a high paper-bag waist as well.
Now that the weather is changing I'm getting my butt into gear and working out regularly, which also means I'm needing some new workout gear. Anyone else feel like all the cute stuff is SO expensive??? I don't know about you, but, I have issues with paying an exorbitant amount of money for clothes that I'm just going to sweat it and get gross, buuuuut...it's me, so, I still want to look put together. Below, I'm sharing the spots I typically purchase my gear, plus what I save on and the one area I splurge.
OMG guys! I don't know about where you're at, but here in Northwest Indiana, the weather has been mind-blowing. I've almost forgotten about the fact just a few short weeks ago, it was snowing. I love when the weather turns nice - everyone is SO friendly, people are out and about enjoying life, and I've been thinking about my next vacation. I'm not sure where I'll end up but I know I'll be going somewhere soon:)
I hate to beat a dead horse, guys, but, maybe you're new here. Or, maybe you read all of my posts but you've forgotten that I may have mentioned a time or two (as in 1 or 200) that this winter was rough. Not only did it make me super grumpy - that's what lack of sunshine and 18 million inches of snow does to a girl, it made my skin super gross. "Dry, dull and tired looking," is what I've been thinking every single time I look in the mirror….
I have a confession everyone: I love pink. I was on Pinterest a few days ago and declared to my brother that I had found my dream house, a pink-brick three-story, complete with a cute balcony. And I of course have pink tops, shoes and other accessories, home accents, etc. BUT, I just recently bought my first pair of pink jeans and looooove them so much. And the more I wear them, the more I realize, pink is basically a neutral. It goes with everything, right? ;)
I get asked this question ALL the time. The truth is, there isn't necessarily a right answer. I think I would be doing each of you a disservice if I didn't tell you, everyday is ideal. Being in front of your followers and showing off your products, blog posts or services as often as possible is never a bad thing.
